The one and only, often imitated, never duplicated – Agtech Action Friday! Agriculture proved to be everywhere this week: in the air, in our cereal boxes and on our roads?! Yes, you cannot escape the power and influence of agriculture. But please be careful what you eat; not all proteins are created equal!

I want to take a moment to promote a Yield Lab Institute initiative we are in midst of called Manure Innovation Challenge. The Manure Innovation Challenge, which is a combination of a non-dilutive accelerator program and a pitch competition, has a programming event scheduled for Indianapolis on November 18th/19th (ahead of the Sustainable Agriculture Summit). We have eight startups participating each with a solution related to manure management and each with a focus on making manure a profitable by-product for farmers.
If you are interested in learning more about the Manure Innovation Challenge, please contact me. As always, agtech knows no bounds; and waste products and streams are a big issue that require our attention.
To sustainability and manure!
